Tyre Puncture & Repair is quoted after inspection rather than from a price list. What moves the number is the car, the parts it takes and whether anything else has to come off to reach the job — not the workshop's postcode.
Prices for a tyre repair in Dubai are quoted in a way that makes them hard to compare: one shop quotes parts only, another quotes labour separately, a third quotes a figure that turns into a different figure once the car is on the lift. This is what the job actually costs and what a quote should contain.
Parts, labour, VAT, disposal of whatever came off the car, and the test that proves the fault was what somebody said it was. A quote missing any of those is not cheaper — it is incomplete, and the difference shows up at the counter. Ours is one number given before the work starts and it does not move afterwards.
The parts your specific car takes, whether they are genuine, OEM-equivalent or aftermarket, and the labour time the job needs on that model. Doing it at your car rather than in a workshop does not add to it — the van is how we work, not a premium service.
A plug pushed in from outside without removing the tyre seals the hole but does nothing about the damage to the casing, and it cannot be inspected. A proper repair means the tyre comes off the rim, the inside is examined for the damage the object did on its way in, and a combined plug and patch seals it from the inside. That is a permanent repair. The other is not.
A quote well under everyone else's is usually missing something: the diagnostic that would have found the real fault, a part that is not what it says it is, or a second visit that has already been priced in by whoever gave it. Ask what happens if the fault is still there afterwards — the answer tells you what you are buying.
It is quoted after inspection, because pricing this job from a description is guessing. The inspection fee is told to you up front and comes off the repair if you go ahead. You get the number before any work starts and it does not change afterwards.
Yes. Every figure we give is the amount you pay, VAT included. A price quoted before VAT is a price that goes up five per cent at the counter.
No. Sidewall and shoulder damage, cuts longer than 6mm, and any tyre driven on while flat are write-offs. Tread punctures within those limits repair permanently.
