These are the questions the phone gets, answered the way we answer them on the phone. Where the honest answer is "it depends", it says what it depends on rather than stopping there.
Every price on this site includes VAT and includes the visit. There is no call-out fee, no night or holiday surcharge, and no charge for the diagnosis if you go ahead with the repair. The number you are told before the work starts is the number you pay.
13 of 21 services happen where the car is parked. The rest need a lift or calibrated equipment, and for those we recover the car to the workshop and return it — the recovery is part of the job rather than an extra line.
Batteries carry 24 months. Parts we supply carry the manufacturer's warranty and our labour on top of it. If a repair does not hold, bring it back — the second visit for the same fault is not a second bill.
It depends entirely on the fault. A coil pack and plugs is a few hundred dirhams; a head gasket or timing chain runs into the thousands. We give you a fixed price after diagnosis, and the diagnosis fee comes off the repair if you go ahead.
Most commonly low refrigerant from a slow leak, a failed compressor clutch, a condenser blocked with sand and debris, or a cooling fan that has stopped. A pressure test separates them in about twenty minutes.
Briefly and gently, no further than it takes to get it looked at. Every kilometre driven while slipping generates heat and debris that raises the cost of the eventual repair.
Typically 25 to 45 minutes depending on where you are and the time of day. Sheikh Zayed Road at rush hour is at the slower end; most residential and industrial areas are at the faster end.
For most cars on fully synthetic oil, every 8,000 to 10,000 km or every six months, whichever comes first — earlier than the handbook figure because of the heat and the dust.
A single panel respray is typically 2 to 3 days including bake and cure time. Multi-panel or structural work runs longer, and we give you a date rather than a range once the car is stripped.
Knocking over bumps, the car continuing to bounce after a dip, uneven tyre wear, the steering pulling to one side, or a steering wheel that sits off-centre on a straight road.
No. Sidewall and shoulder damage, cuts longer than 6mm, and any tyre driven on while flat are write-offs. Tread punctures within those limits repair permanently.
The engine revs climb without the car accelerating proportionally, most obviously under load or on an incline. Any delay between selecting drive and the car moving is the same warning.
Engine revs rising without matching acceleration in the higher gears, a burning smell after hill starts, judder as you pull away, or the biting point creeping upward toward the top of the pedal travel.
Typically every 30,000 to 50,000 km, but it depends entirely on how you drive. We measure the remaining material rather than going by mileage.
Once a year, whenever you fit new tyres, and after any significant kerb or pothole impact.
Every 10,000 km or every six months for a minor service, whichever comes first. Dubai's heat and dust justify the shorter interval even where the handbook allows longer.
A sealed system should never need refilling. If yours is low, it is leaking, and the leak is the actual repair. Refilling alone buys weeks to months.
Often yes. If the damage is localised, we can fill, colour and blend within the panel. Long scratches crossing a body line usually need the full panel to look right.
If your fingernail does not catch in it, yes — a machine polish removes it entirely. Anything deeper needs paint.

Towing moves a car that can roll. Recovery deals with a car that cannot — accident damage, seized brakes, a wheel off, or stuck in sand — and needs winching or skates to get onto the truck at all.

About 20 minutes once we arrive, and our average arrival across Dubai is 25 to 40 minutes. We test the old battery and the charging system before fitting, so you leave knowing the battery was actually the problem.
The price depends on the group size, the capacity your car needs and whether it has a start-stop system, which decides whether it takes a premium AGM unit. We quote before we start and the price includes fitting, disposal of the old battery and VAT.
Two to three years for most cars, against four to five in a cooler climate. Sustained heat evaporates electrolyte and accelerates grid corrosion, which is why a battery here often fails on the first cool morning after a hot summer rather than during it.
For batteries, jump starts, tyres, oil changes and brakes we come to you — roadside, home parking or your office. Body work, gearbox work and anything needing a lift happens at the workshop, and we can recover the car there.
If the car jump starts and then goes flat again overnight, the battery is no longer holding charge or something is draining it. If it starts and then dies while driving, the alternator is not charging. We test both on the spot rather than selling you a battery you may not need.
