With a range ending in 2006, this is very likely a conventional car with no start-stop system, which means a good standard battery in the correct group size does the job. AGM would last longer but you would be paying for cycle life the car never uses.
The VQ and VR engines are strong but heat-sensitive around the coil packs; a misfire that appears only when hot is the classic symptom. For the battery specifically: park in shade where you can, drive far enough to actually recharge rather than only starting the car, and have it load-tested before summer rather than after. A battery that reads 12.4 volts at rest can still fail its load test, and the load test is the one that predicts the morning it does not start.
The Q45 is a saloon, which usually means a mid-size battery in an accessible bonnet position. That is not a detail — battery choice is driven as much by physical size, hold-down type and parked current draw as it is by cranking amps, and getting one of the three wrong is how a correctly-specified battery ends up failing early.
Electrical load parked is high, so reserve capacity matters more on an Infiniti than raw cranking amps. On the Q45 specifically, which the vehicle database lists across model years 1989 to 2006, the safe approach is to read the label on the battery that is in the car now and match its group size, terminal side and capacity — or to give us the year and let us look it up.
