A Tesla Roadster battery in Dubai is a two-to-three year part, not a five-year one, and knowing that is the difference between replacing it on a Tuesday afternoon and replacing it in a car park at midnight.
The 12V battery is separate from the traction pack and is what actually strands a Tesla — when it fails the car will not wake, regardless of how much range is showing. On the Roadster specifically, which the vehicle database lists across model years 2006 to 2026, the safe approach is to read the label on the battery that is in the car now and match its group size, terminal side and capacity — or to give us the year and let us look it up.
One loud click with bright dashboard lights is the starter. Rapid clicking with dimming lights is the battery or a corroded terminal. Starting fine and then dying while driving is the alternator. We test all three at the roadside before fitting anything, because replacing a healthy battery on a Tesla Roadster with a failing alternator leaves you exactly where you started, two days later.
This is very likely a conventional car with no start-stop system, which means a good standard battery in the correct group size does the job. AGM would last longer but you would be paying for cycle life the car never uses.
Heat management is handled by the car, but cabin and cooling loops still benefit from inspection, and tyres wear faster than owners expect from the instant torque and the weight. For the battery specifically: park in shade where you can, drive far enough to actually recharge rather than only starting the car, and have it load-tested before summer rather than after. A battery that reads 12.4 volts at rest can still fail its load test, and the load test is the one that predicts the morning it does not start.
