The honest answer to how long an AC re-gas takes has two halves: the work, which is predictable, and everything around it, which is where the day actually goes. Here is both.
1 hour on a car with nothing unusual about it. That figure assumes the diagnosis is already done and the right parts are on the van or the shelf — which is why we confirm the car and the fault on the call rather than discovering both on arrival.
A seized fastener, a part that has to be ordered, or a second fault found while the first is being fixed. We tell you as soon as we know rather than at the end, and if the extra work changes the price you agree to the new number before we carry on.
Too much refrigerant raises high-side pressure, cuts cooling, and puts liquid where the compressor expects gas. Because a system in Dubai's heat reads high pressure anyway, charging by gauge alone leads to undercharging in an attempt to keep pressures down. Charging by weight avoids the whole problem.
We run 24/7, every day, and there is no night or holiday surcharge. For a mobile job that means a 2am call is the same price and roughly the same wait as a Tuesday afternoon one.

In Dubai summer, roughly 6-10 degrees at the centre vent on full recirculation after ten minutes. Much above that with a correct charge points at airflow, the blend door or the condenser.
