An Escalade battery sits under the second-row seat on several generations, which is why a quoted price that assumes a bonnet fit is usually wrong. Magnetic ride dampers are the signature maintenance item and heat shortens their life; a floaty rear end is the first sign. For the battery specifically: park in shade where you can, drive far enough to actually recharge rather than only starting the car, and have it load-tested before summer rather than after. A battery that reads 12.4 volts at rest can still fail its load test, and the load test is the one that predicts the morning it does not start.
