Most Nissan Cube Cubic calls we take start the same way: it turned over slowly for a few days, then one morning it just clicked.
With a range ending in 2008, this is very likely a conventional car with no start-stop system, which means a good standard battery in the correct group size does the job. AGM would last longer but you would be paying for cycle life the car never uses.
CVT gearboxes in the Altima and X-Trail need their fluid changed far earlier than the schedule suggests once they have spent a few summers in Dubai traffic. For the battery specifically: park in shade where you can, drive far enough to actually recharge rather than only starting the car, and have it load-tested before summer rather than after. A battery that reads 12.4 volts at rest can still fail its load test, and the load test is the one that predicts the morning it does not start.
The Cube Cubic is an SUV, so it carries a physically larger battery than a saloon of the same age and a heavier parked electrical load. That is not a detail — battery choice is driven as much by physical size, hold-down type and parked current draw as it is by cranking amps, and getting one of the three wrong is how a correctly-specified battery ends up failing early.
The Patrol and Pathfinder take large-capacity batteries that many suppliers do not stock; we carry them because they are one of the most common calls we take. On the Cube Cubic specifically, which the vehicle database lists across model years 2003 to 2008, the safe approach is to read the label on the battery that is in the car now and match its group size, terminal side and capacity — or to give us the year and let us look it up.
