Oil Change on a Lexus is the same job it is on anything else right up until it is not, and the difference is always in the parts and the tolerances rather than the procedure.
Every visit includes a battery health test — not a voltage reading, a load test — because a Lexus in Dubai is on a two-to-three year battery cycle and the cheapest time to find a failing one is while somebody is already looking at the car. On the start-stop models in this range that also means checking whether the battery has been registered, because an unregistered replacement is being charged to the wrong profile.
Modern synthetic oil is chemically capable of the interval printed in the handbook. What shortens it here is the combination of sustained high ambient temperature, idling in traffic with the AC on full, and fine airborne dust reaching the sump past a filter that is overdue. Fifteen to twenty percent earlier than the book figure is a sensible allowance.
A 0W-20 engine filled with 5W-30 will run, and its variable valve timing will run slightly wrong, and its fuel economy will drop, and the wear that follows will not be visible for two years. Grade is stamped on the oil cap for a reason and we match it.
Lexus is a Japanese make, and Lexus cabins are heavily loaded with electronics that draw current parked, so a 12V battery here has a harder life than the mileage suggests. For an oil change specifically that means we price the parts to the model rather than the badge, and we check the items that go alongside it on this range instead of quoting a flat figure and finding out later.
For most cars on fully synthetic oil, every 8,000 to 10,000 km or every six months, whichever comes first — earlier than the handbook figure because of the heat and the dust.

If the manufacturer specified it, yes. Even where semi-synthetic is permitted, fully synthetic holds up better against Dubai's ambient temperatures and is worth the small difference in price.
