A Mazda Allegro battery in Dubai is a two-to-three year part, not a five-year one, and knowing that is the difference between replacing it on a Tuesday afternoon and replacing it in a car park at midnight.

A battery that reads 12.4 volts at rest can still fail its load test, and the load test is the one that predicts the morning it does not start.
