Which battery a Mazda Axela takes
I-ELOOP and i-stop models use a specific battery with a capacitor system behind it, and fitting a conventional battery to one causes the stop-start to disable itself. On the Axela specifically, which the vehicle database lists across model years 2003 to 2019, the safe approach is to read the label on the battery that is in the car now and match its group size, terminal side and capacity — or to give us the year and let us look it up.
