We do car maintenance across the whole Mitsubishi range, and we quote it per model rather than per brand, because a quote that covers every Mitsubishi equally is a quote that is wrong for most of them.
Every visit includes a battery health test — not a voltage reading, a load test — because a Mitsubishi in Dubai is on a two-to-three year battery cycle and the cheapest time to find a failing one is while somebody is already looking at the car. We also check charging voltage, because a battery that keeps going flat is usually an alternator story.
A minor service is oil, filters and fluids — roughly every 10,000 km here. A major adds the items on longer intervals: spark plugs, fuel filter, brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid. Most cars want a major every third service or every 40,000 km, whichever comes first, and skipping the major is how a car ends up with six-year-old brake fluid.
At 10,000 km: oil, filters, tyre rotation, brake inspection. At 40,000: add spark plugs, brake fluid, cabin and fuel filters. At 60,000: transmission fluid, coolant, suspension inspection. At 100,000: timing belt if your engine has one rather than a chain, water pump, full ignition system. Missing the timing belt interval is the single most expensive omission on that list.
Mitsubishi is a Japanese make, and high-mileage Pajeros and L200s in the UAE are usually working vehicles, and the alternator wears alongside the battery — testing both together avoids the second call-out. For a car service specifically that means we price the parts to the model rather than the badge, and we check the items that go alongside it on this range instead of quoting a flat figure and finding out later.
