We do scratch repair across the whole Nissan range, and we quote it per model rather than per brand, because a quote that covers every Nissan equally is a quote that is wrong for most of them.
Every visit includes a battery health test — not a voltage reading, a load test — because a Nissan in Dubai is on a two-to-three year battery cycle and the cheapest time to find a failing one is while somebody is already looking at the car. We also check charging voltage, because a battery that keeps going flat is usually an alternator story.
A scratch you cannot feel with a fingernail is above the colour layer and comes out with abrasive polishing, because polishing works by levelling the clear coat down to the base of the mark. One you can feel has gone through the clear and no amount of polishing will bring the missing colour back.
Machine polishing removes microns of clear every time. A panel that has been aggressively polished several times has very little left, and once it is gone the base coat is exposed and the panel needs a full refinish. Repeated cheap polishing is not free — it spends a finite resource.
Nissan is a Japanese make, and CVT gearboxes in the Altima and X-Trail need their fluid changed far earlier than the schedule suggests once they have spent a few summers in Dubai traffic. For a scratch repair specifically that means we price the parts to the model rather than the badge, and we check the items that go alongside it on this range instead of quoting a flat figure and finding out later.

If your fingernail does not catch in it, yes — a machine polish removes it entirely. Anything deeper needs paint.
A polish-out on one panel is the low end. A fill-and-blend repair costs more but still far less than a full panel respray. We quote after seeing the depth.
Machine polishing is mobile. Anything that needs paint and a controlled environment happens at the workshop.
